NWA Tag Team Title Best of 7 Series: Match 6
The Hell Raisers defeated The Hell-Raisers when Hawk pinned Goldberg after a flying shoulderblock in 17:03.
(**1/4)
Hawk and Power Warrior took the series lead by out-brawling Austin and Goldberg. Hawk got the win with a flying shoulderblock, but the decision solved nothing. The two teams brawled up the entrance ramp after the bell. If anything, this rivalry has become more heated.
(The Hell Raisers lead the Best of 7 Series, 3-2)

Interview: Genichiro Tenryu
New CCW owner Tenryu came to ringside, accompanied by his translator Koji Kitao, and Tanaka, Muta and Kojima. Kitao, at Tenryu's request, called out the Japanese wrestlers on the CCW roster - Power Warrior, Taka Michinoku, Tajiri, Hakushi, and Ultimo Dragon. Taka, Hakushi and Tajiri came out and joined the group in the ring, as Kitao and Tenryu pledged to make changes for the better - giving the Japanese and other foreign wrestlers more fair treatment in the US. Power Warrior came out, and stated that he was happy for Tenryu and his promise, but that he felt that he had been treated fairly. Tenryu promised Warrior bigger and better things. The group called out Ultimo Dragon, who came to the entrance ramp. He refused to join the group, and instead, stated that he didn't need anyone's help to be a success. Tenryu was insulted by the Dragon's remarks, and said that it was unwise to burn bridges, and he gave Ultimo another chance to join him. Ultimo walked out, ignoring him. In anger, Tenryu awarded Satoshi Kojima a TV title match for that night.

Palumbo & O'Haire defeated the New Age Outlaws when O'Haire pinned Billy Gunn with the Seanton Bomb in 15:35. (**3/4)
Palumbo and O'Haire kept last week's promise to beat up the Outlaws, and pounded Gunn and Dogg. The victory should propel them into a CCW Tag Title match. After the bell, Tenryu came out with Koji Kitao, and announced the first two roster cuts - The New Age Outlaws.

Rick Martel pinned La Parka after a dropkick in 17:47. (**1/4)
"The Model" used trickery to garner a victory over the dancing luchador, via an assist from the large Mr. Hughes. Parka got revenge, chairman-style, to the delight of the crowd.

Backstage: Tenryu and Kama and Danny Doring
Tenryu informed Kama and Doring that they had a match against each other at World War 3, and since they already had one spot, he was taking away their spots in the three-ring battle royal. In their place would be himself and Masato Tanaka! Kama and Doring began to complain, but Koji Kitao escorted them out.

Jeff Jarrett and Sycho Sid defeated Diesel and Ken Shamrock when Sid pinned Shamrock with the Power Bomb in 10:35. (1/2*)
Jarrett found himself the target of Diesel, but used Sid to even things out. Jeff and Sid managed to steal a win when Sid powerbombed Shamrock on a chair.

Super Crazy pinned Alex Wright with the Crazy Bomb in 7:16. (***)
Crazy managed to stay a step ahead of Wright and his bodyguard Brakus, and got a win with a quick Crazy Bomb.

Backstage: Booker T and Genichiro Tenryu
Booker T walked into Tenryu's office and demanded that he get his #1 Contender status back. Tenryu refused, saying that the honor now belonged to Masato Tanaka. Instead, Booker would face the Great Muta.

Ultimo Dragon pinned Satoshi Kojima after a power bomb in 10:24. (***)
Dragon managed to keep his title in a brutal match. Tenryu and Kitao watched from the entrance ramp, and Tajiri, Taka and Hakushi surrounded the ring. After the match, the Japanese let Ultimo walk back to the dressing room untouched.

(Ultimo Dragon retained the CCW Television Title.)

Booker T pinned The Great Muta after the Book End in 15:27. (**3/4)
Booker T tested his mettle by beating Muta with his Book End, despite being half blind from mist. After the match, the enraged Tenryu promised that Booker T and Ultimo Dragon would pay for embarrassing him on his first show as owner.
