Hakushi was able to quickly slap on an STF to move on in the CCW Heavyweight Tournament. Boyer's ring inexperience was obvious, as he was unable to escape the hold.
Heavyweight Tournament Round 2: Davey Boy Smith pinned The Patriot with the Running Powerslam in 0:04:21.(-*)
Davey Boy made it quick, by crushing the Patriot in just over four minutes to move on in the CCW Heavyweight Tourney, where he'll meet Hakushi.
Heavyweight Tournament Round 2: Sycho Sid pinned Shawn Stasiak with the Power Bomb in 0:18:44.(*1/2)
Stasiak surprised everyone by coming within a hair of beating Sid, but the big man was able to put the kid away with the powerbomb.
Tag Team Tournament Round 2: The New Age Outlaws beat Mr. Hughes and Rick Martel when Mr. Ass defeated Hughes
by countout in 0:11:24.(-*)
The Outlaws pounded Martel around the ring, and Hughes had to rescue Martel and carry him to the locker room for a count-out. Taking the loss wasn't smart but Hughes only did it because Martel was screaming for help.
Tag Team Tournament Round 2: The Dudley Boyz beat Totally Buff when D-Von pinned Buff after a backbreaker in
0:18:27. (**1/2)
The Dudleys seemed overpowered, but were able to keep Bagwell isolated. By holding off Luger, they were able to finish off Buff with a backbreaker.
TV Tournament Round 1: Brakus pinned Ahmed Johnson after a sunset flip in 0:16:16.(*)
Brakus upset Ahmed in the first round of the TV Tournament, and will move on to face Derek Boyer.
TV Tournament Round 1: Yokozuna pinned Essa Rios with the Banzai Drop in 0:09:38.(*1/4)
Essa wowed the crowd with aerial moves, and even had Yoko flat on his back. However, the big sumo was too much for Rios, and flattened him with a Banzai Drop. Yoko moves on to face Shawn Stasiak for the TV Belt Tournament.
Heavyweight Tournament Round 2: Diesel pinned Rick Rude with the Jackknife in 0:19:10.(**1/2)
Rude actually gave Big Daddy Cool a run for his money. Rude took everything Diesel dished out, but in the end, BDC ended it with a jack-knife. Rude will face the Patriot in the TV Belt Tourney, and Diesel meets Sid for the Heavyweight Strap.
