Palumbo & O'Haire defeated Shawn Stasiak and Mr. Perfect when Palumbo pinned Stasiak with the Jungle Kick in 14:56. (3/4*)
Mr. Perfect made his ring return to tag with Shawn Stasiak against Chuck Palumbo and Sean O'Haire. Unfortunately for Perfect, his return was ruined by a loss. Palumbo and O'Haire looked very strong as a tag team, and easily handled the "Perfect" team.
The New Age Outlaws and The Wall defeated Too Much and Val Venis when Gunn pinned Christopher with the Rocker Dropper in 9:30. (1/4*)
Damage, Inc. continued to be a dominant force in CCW by defeating the threesome of Too Much and Val Venis. After the win, The Wall choke-slammed each member of Too Much as Val Venis stormed back to the locker room.
Parking Lot: Austin & Goldberg?
In the parking lot, Austin's flaming skull pickup was shown... empty. The announcers assumed Austin and Goldberg were in the building.
KOTR 1st-Round Match: Raven pinned Sycho Sid with the Evenflow DDT in 9:00. (-**)
Sid dominated the match, but Raven surprised everyone by pulling his finisher out of nowhere. The Evenflow floored Sid and Raven advanced closer to the King of the Ring Crown. Sid's latest loss in CCW finally pushed him over the edge. He brutally attacked Raven, referees, and security with a chair before stomping off to the parking lot and leaving.
Diesel pinned Bubba Ray Dudley with the Jack-Knife in 8:25. (1/2*)
Diesel was all business, and took out the big Dudley with his trademark finisher.
Rick Martel made Power Warrior submit to the Boston Crab in 16:56. (*)
Warrior came with in a hair of snagging the TV belt, but constant help from Mr. Hughes kept Martel alive. As Warrior hit his finisher, the Thunder Drop, Hughes entered the ring. Warrior gave him the same move, and dumped him out. As he went for the pin, Bill Goldberg climbed into the ring! Referee Russ McGuire tried to get rid of Goldberg, and Austin slipped into the other side of the ring. Power Warrior took a nasty stunner, and Goldberg and Austin got out of the ring and watched as Martel recovered and put Warrior in his Boston Crab. Seeing Warrior unconscious, McGuire counted Warrior's arm down three times and awarded the match to Martel. Austin and Goldberg gloated, but were hit from behind by Hawk and the Hart Brothers. Security broke the men apart.
(Rick Martel retained the CCW Television Title.)
Davey Boy Smith pinned Derek Boyer with the Running Powerslam in 13:24. (*1/2)
Davey Boy defended his title against the big Fiji man, who earned a title shot with impressive victories over many big names. Boyer gave the Bulldog all he could handle, but the Bulldog's savvy gave him the edge to outsmart and beat Boyer.
(Davey Boy Smith retained the CCW Heavyweight Title.)
